The Lower Eyeliner

The lower eyeliner is a technique that outlines the lower part of the eye, defining the contour of the lower eyelid. M.A.C International Makeup Artist Xabier Rodrigues Lucena explains: “Outlining the lower eyelid is key to creating a larger and/or more cat-eye effect.” In makeup techniques, drawing the eyeliner lines can enhance the appearance of the eyelashes, as applying eyeliner on the outer edge creates the illusion of fuller, natural lashes, making the eyes appear larger.
